An opportunity has arisen to work with a high profile and valued client in the role of Portfolio Leasing Manager on a diverse property portfolio with a retail focus. 

Reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager, this is an exciting role which will see you responsible for providing end to end leasing and project activities across an active and evolving portfolio.

  • Negotiating and delivering favorable market transactions on behalf of the client
  • Develop and implement leasing campaigns, including expressions of interest (EOI) and requests for proposals (RFP)
  • Develop and manage precinct leasing strategies
  • Prepare progress reports and attend client meetings
  • Prepare high quality, clear, succinct and timely recommendations for client approval
  • Provide market analysis, real estate advice and leasing opportunities on the portfolio, in line with the client strategy
  • Managing and developing Portfolio Leasing Assistant

About you

  • Professional tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as property, finance, commerce or business equivalent qualifications;
  • Real Estate licence or Certificate of Registration
  • Demonstrated experience in managing retail property portfolio leasing, sales and valuations and providing strategic property project services;
  • Excellent time management skills including demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and deliver on tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and work as part of a specialised project team
  • Demonstrated experience in project management;
  • Developed communication, interpersonal and relationship / stakeholder management with excellent writing skills;
  • Strong understanding of key legislation affecting land occupations and transactions with particular emphasis on the Retail Lease Act 1994 (NSW) and Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (NSW);
  • Proficient in MS Office and Project.

Your duties will include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, owners and tenants
  • Recognising client needs
  • Responding to tasks efficiently and professionally
  • Continuously sourcing business through networking
  • Organising targeted marketing
  • Building a solid track record
  • Achieving revenue targets

Your key requirements are:

  • At least two years experience in the commercial, industrial or retail sector
  • Preferably specialised in leasing or sales
  • The ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, landlords and tenants
  • Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully closing deals

You will report directly to the Director of Leasing and will be responsible for providing support with respect to the teams requirements.
