12 Month Graduate Program

CI Australia is offering a fantastic opportunity for those in their final year of study to join our 2023 Graduate Program. 

Based in either our Sydney CBD or North Sydney office, we are looking for a proactive self-starter ready to kick-start their career in the commercial property industry.

You will be working two to four days per week on a 12-month rotation, which will be flexible around your studies, you will rotate through a number of key departments such as tenant representation, asset management, sales, leasing, marketing and research.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Attending onsite inspections
  • Data entry of contacts and property specifics into various property databases
  • Conducting market research
  • Understanding tenant leases
  • Outgoing reconciliation
  • Attending team meetings
  • Learning how buildings are managed as well as transacted

We are looking for a full-time Land Economist to join our Research department. The role will review research data analyses and provide feasibility and cash flow studies to assist lessors or buyers in understanding the market to enable them to maximise the value of their investment.

The work will include qualifying and acquiring potential tenants as well as landlord management and deal progression. The role also includes the preparation of submission documents, Information Memorandum’s, reports, data input, maintenance and research.

 

Key duties and responsibilities

  • To advise clients on commercial property valuations and administration of market and financial analysis
  • Develop and implement proposals for commercial properties
  • Analyses of commercial property investments as well as determining values by considering market demand, condition of items, future trends and other factors
  • To assist in utilising and updating of CI’s Listing System
  • To research, collect data and establish facts on current property market trends
  • To develop and implement proposals, submissions, executive summaries and information memorandums for sales and leasing instructions
  • To maintain a high professional and ethical profile in accordance with industry and company standards
  • To attend all department and company meetings as directed
  • To comply with all company policies and procedures

In addition to the duties set out above, you are expected to perform such duties as may from time to time be assigned to you by the Company.

 

Key Requirements

  • The candidate must be computer literate and possess excellent communication skills
  • The candidate should be conversant with the commercial, retail and industrial property markets
  • Tertiary qualifications (property related preferable)
