Thursday 25 May 2017

Congratulations to CI success story Gloria Harb, recipient of the 2017 PCA Award for Property Economics!

Gloria joined CI in 2015 as one of the very first participants in our Graduate Program. Throughout the 12 month role, Gloria gained a diverse understanding of the property industry by working one-on-one with our departments covering Sales, Leasing, Asset Management and Research whilst completing her full-time studies at UTS. Upon completion of our Graduate Program, Gloria was quickly offered a full-time position within CI’s Commercial Asset Management Team, where she liases directly with tenants and owners ensuring leasing documentation is adhered to amongst other tasks.

“Gloria is an integral member of the commercial portfolio team. She has shown a clear aptitude for understanding critical details specific to property and clients alike. To be recognised in this award is only testament to the efficient and hardworking member of staff we experience each day.” – Michael Sheppard, Director Asset Management

The annual award is sponsored by the Property Council of Australia and is given to an outstanding graduate of the Bachelors in Property Economics. Through a detailed selection process involving reviews of the highest course results and interviews with various students, we are proud to announce that this years award recipient is none other than our very own Gloria Harb.

“Participating in the CI Graduate Program really helped in my final year of study where I could use industry knowledge and terminology in many of my assessments. The flexibility of work hours based around my course allowed me to focus mainly on getting the degree done to the best of my ability and after 3 full years of study I am so happy with the results I have received. The PCA award is such an honour to receive and I am really looking forward to continuing my career in the industry!” – Gloria Harb, Property Officer, Commercial Asset Management

We look forward to a prosperous future for Gloria and will continue in our endeavours to include more opportunities for her career. Our goal is to provide the same level of support and diversity for many more students entering our Graduate Program, as it is the individuals we train today who will shape the industry tomorrow.
