CI Australia has been integral in the opening of several exciting new retail and food and beverage venues within Sydney train stations in the last 18 months, as the Managing and Leasing Agent for the Rail Corporation (RailCorp) Portfolio across NSW.
Recent weeks have seen four key openings, three inside the iconic Grand Concourse at Central Station. These are 2000 Acres and Central Food Market, both located in the heritage dining hall; and Eternity Bar and Grill, which is located inside the former heritage booking hall, complete with a traditional fit out that accentuates the space’s stunning features.
Our Portfolio Team has also this month delivered the successful opening of a new McDonalds Australia to Wynyard Train Station, adding to the growing selection of convenient options for busy commuters and visitors alike. This follows the rejuvenation of Wynyard Station in 2016/17 which included the construction of Wynyard Walk, the pedestrian link which connects Wynyard Station with the thriving hub of Barangaroo.
The upgrade of the station also saw CI facilitate the opening of nine new retailers within the revamped space including HSBC Bank, CBD Flowers, Newslink, WH Smith, Amcal Express, Megumi Sushi, Repair Inn and TLC Dry Cleaning.
