CI Australia has been recognised once again as a finalist in the 2019 REINSW Awards for Excellence in the 'Commercial Agency - Large' category. This is the fourth consecutive year the firm has been nominated in these prestigious state awards and was also the winner of the category in 2017.
CI Australia CEO Andrew Hunter said the firm had invested significantly in its brand, culture, people and services over the past year. "Maintaining a strategic focus on our points of difference and keeping our agency model agile has allowed us to flex to the changing, and at times challenging market over the past year. This has ensured we continue to deliver exceptional results for our clients and expand our service offering to a diverse base of institutions, corporates, Government and private investors.”
Mr Hunter also discussed the importance of ongoing investment into the firm’s people, and noted it as a driving factor of success in the last 12 months. "I am proud of the autonomy we provide our people over their professional development. It's not only about their requirements or desired new skills, but where they want to take their careers more broadly and how we can help them achieve those goals."
CI's Director of Marketing and Communications Rebecca Lucas has also been nominated as a finalist for 'Operational Leadership' in the REINSW 2019 Awards. The nomination is reflective of her achievements over the past six years with the firm, which include driving the implementation and growth of the CI brand in the market, including undertaking a full re-brand of the firm from Chesterton International to 'CI Australia' in 2015. She has also been integral in designing and leading new business systems, procedures and operations during this time.
CI continues to work closely with parent companies APP and Broadspectrum, and was also recently named as a finalist in the Property Council of Australia's Innovation & Excellence Awards for 2019. This was a collaborative effort between CI, APP and our client Roads & Maritime Services for the redevelopment of Sydney's Elizabeth Bay Marina.
The 2019 REINSW Awards for Excellence winners will be announced on Thursday, 19 September 2019 at a Gala Dinner. In the meantime, keep up to date with our recent activities on our website and across our LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook channels.
